The Calliope Chandelier is a hardwired ceiling fixture with curved brass-finish arms, a walnut-color wood center and caramel or white glass shades, in a Victorian-inspired retro style. It suits dining rooms, living rooms, entryways, studies and bedrooms.

- Room size — add the room's length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good fixture width. A 12 × 14 ft room suits a fixture about 26 inches wide.
- Over a dining table — choose a width of about half to two-thirds of the table's width, and hang the bottom 30–36 inches above the table top.
- Over a kitchen island — hang pendants 30–36 inches above the counter, about 24–30 inches apart. A linear light should be about two-thirds of the island's length.
- In open floor space — leave at least 7 ft (84 inches) between the floor and the bottom of the fixture.
- Higher ceilings — for each foot above 8 ft, hang the fixture about 3 inches higher.
