The Dessa Pendant Light is a Bauhaus-style linear pendant with three disc-shaped glass shades hung from one ceiling bar, suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, bars and living spaces.

- Room size — add the room's length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good fixture width. A 12 × 14 ft room suits a fixture about 26 inches wide.
- Over a dining table — choose a width of about half to two-thirds of the table's width, and hang the bottom 30–36 inches above the table top.
- Over a kitchen island — hang pendants 30–36 inches above the counter, about 24–30 inches apart. A linear light should be about two-thirds of the island's length.
- In open floor space — leave at least 7 ft (84 inches) between the floor and the bottom of the fixture.
- Higher ceilings — for each foot above 8 ft, hang the fixture about 3 inches higher.
